Privacy Policy

Data controller

Povilas Šideikis, providing individual cycling coaching and sports-testing services. Contact: +370 674 72842 and p.sideikis@gmail.com.

Data we process

Data processed may include name, surname, date of birth, contact details, place of residence, sporting experience, goals, training data, equipment information, sleep and subjective-wellbeing metrics. Health, injury, medication and exercise-restriction information is provided voluntarily and only to the extent relevant to safe coaching.

Purposes and legal bases

Assessing an enquiry and contacting you before entering a service agreement; preparing and delivering coaching under the service contract; payments, accounting and legal obligations; and health information supplied voluntarily on the basis of explicit consent.

Recipients of data

Service providers may include FormSubmit, email providers, Stripe and TrainingPeaks. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. Personal data are not sold.

Retention and your rights

Unaccepted enquiry data are kept only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry. Client coaching data are retained during the service and for a reasonable period afterwards; accounting records are retained as required by law. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent or lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate.

Health information is not medical advice

The coach is not your treating physician. If you have symptoms, a diagnosis or uncertainty about the safety of exercise, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Terms of service

Service provider and agreement

Services are provided by Povilas Šideikis. A service agreement is considered concluded when the client selects a service, reviews the applicable terms, completes payment and receives confirmation. Communication takes place using the contact details provided during registration.

Individual coaching

Individual coaching includes an individual TrainingPeaks plan, review of completed sessions, plan adjustments and agreed communication. Performance outcomes depend on health, preparation, adherence, recovery and other individual factors; no specific sporting result is guaranteed.

Lactate testing

Lactate testing time and location are agreed individually. The client must disclose relevant health conditions and exercise restrictions. The coach may postpone or stop a test if there are safety concerns. Test results support coaching decisions and are not a medical diagnosis.

Client responsibilities

The client must provide accurate information, train according to current condition, follow safety requirements and report pain, illness, injury or medical restrictions without delay. Acute concerning symptoms require stopping exercise and seeking appropriate medical care.

Communication and plan changes

Plans are adjusted according to available data, wellbeing and information provided in advance. The client should report significant changes to their schedule as early as possible. The coach may reasonably change training content for safety and to support the training goal.

03

Health, risk and limits of liability

Not a medical service

Coaching, training analysis, fitness recommendations and lactate testing are not medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment or emergency medical care and do not replace advice from a licensed healthcare professional.

Athlete responsibilities

The athlete is responsible for providing accurate and sufficient information known to them about illnesses, injuries, medication, pregnancy, previous health conditions and medical exercise restrictions. Relevant changes in health must be reported promptly.

Symptoms and medical screening

If there is doubt about exercise safety, the athlete should consult a physician before training or testing. Chest pain or pressure, unusual shortness of breath, fainting, severe dizziness, abnormal heart rhythm, acute pain or other concerning symptoms require immediate cessation of exercise and appropriate medical attention.

Risks inherent in physical activity

Physical activity and testing involve inherent risks outside the coach’s control, including fatigue, overload, injury, falls, traffic, weather and environmental conditions. The athlete is responsible for assessing the safety of the location, equipment and traffic environment.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the coach is not responsible for harm resulting from concealed or inaccurate information, failure to follow medical restrictions or safety instructions, unauthorized plan changes, unsuitable equipment or circumstances outside the coach’s control. This does not remove liability that cannot legally be excluded. This includes liability for the service provider’s own unlawful acts or fault where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Safety comes before completing a session

Skipping or stopping a session is not a failure when continuing would be unsafe. Report symptoms and changes in health before your next exercise session.

04

Payments, cancellation and refunds

Payments

Prices are stated in euros. Payments are processed on Stripe’s secure checkout pages; this website does not collect or store card details. Payment confirmation is sent to the email address provided by the client.

Client responsibility to cancel a subscription

A client who no longer wants the monthly service must cancel the subscription in the Stripe Customer Portal before the next payment date. Not using the coaching service, not completing training or not logging in to TrainingPeaks does not cancel the subscription automatically. If the subscription is not cancelled in time, Stripe may charge for the next period. This does not limit any mandatory statutory consumer rights.

One-time services

For one-time services, if a lactate-test date has not yet been agreed or the service has not started, contact the coach as early as possible about rescheduling or cancellation. If the provider cannot deliver the service, an alternative date or full refund for the undelivered service is offered.

Right of withdrawal for distance contracts

Consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract, subject to statutory exceptions. If the service begins at the client’s explicit request before the withdrawal period ends, a proportionate amount may be charged for the part already delivered. Once a service has been fully performed with prior explicit consent and acknowledgment, the right of withdrawal may be lost where permitted by law.

Refund requests

Refund requests should include the client’s name, payment email, service, payment date and the nature of the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; settlement timing depends on the bank and Stripe. You do not have to give a reason for exercising your right of withdrawal. Send requests to p.sideikis@gmail.com.

05

Subscription cancellation terms

Recurring payment

The €100 individual coaching plan is a monthly recurring subscription. By selecting it, the client agrees that the fee may be charged automatically each month until cancellation.

How to cancel

The subscription can be managed or cancelled through the Stripe Customer Portal using the email address used for payment. If access fails, contact p.sideikis@gmail.com.

When cancellation takes effect

After cancellation, the next recurring payment is not charged. Service continues until the end of the already-paid period unless otherwise agreed. Fees for a started period are generally not refunded except where required by law or when the service was not delivered due to the provider’s fault.

Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe may retry the charge or request updated payment information. Coaching may be paused if the new period remains unpaid.

Confidentiality and content protection

Athlete information

Personal, health, wellbeing and training data provided through forms, email, TrainingPeaks or another agreed channel are treated as confidential and used only to provide the service, communicate and meet legal obligations. Data are not disclosed to third parties except necessary service providers, with the athlete’s consent, or when legally required.

Website and coach content

Website text, design, branding, photographs, coaching materials, individual training plans, test explanations and other material created by Povilas Šideikis are protected. They may not be copied, publicly published, distributed, sold, passed to third parties or used commercially without prior written permission except where permitted by law.

Personal use

An individual training plan and recommendations may be used by the client for personal training. Passing them to another athlete is not safe because they are prepared for a specific person’s data, condition and goals.

Your data are not published

Testimonials, results, photographs or training histories will be used publicly only after separate consent is obtained.

Legal documents may be updated when services or applicable law change; the latest version is always published on this website.
