Lactate testing for cyclists in Kaunas.

A stepwise test helps assess your individual physiological response to increasing workload and set training intensities more precisely. Test time and location are arranged directly.

Not one universal mmol value — your individual lactate curve.

I assess all stage data: power, heart rate, blood lactate and perceived exertion. LT1 and LT2 are interpreted from the full curve and context; fixed 2 and 4 mmol/L values are not automatically treated as your individual thresholds.

01

Stepwise protocol

Workload rises progressively and physiological response is recorded at each stage. You receive the complete protocol.

02

LT1 and LT2 assessment

The first and second lactate-threshold regions are evaluated from the full response curve.

03

Individual zones

Practical power and heart-rate intensity ranges for training.

How I use the results.

The lactate curve helps define LT1 and LT2 intensity regions. I combine the test with your power profile, training history and subjective feedback to set endurance and threshold work. Key tests can later be repeated to assess progress.

For a reliable assessment.

  • Arrive rested and avoid hard training before the test.
  • Disclose health limitations; do not change prescribed medical treatment because of the test.
  • Use your normal bike, clothing and nutrition routine.
  • Do not schedule the test immediately before an important race.
